Haidee is a self-taught mixed-media artist, working primarily with pen + ink, watercolor and oil. She loves to experiment with mediums and techniques and find art and life in unexpected found objects. 

Haidee has a fascination with the intricacies of insects, but also bold, borderless color.

Art can be inconsistent and she finds comfort in that.

After attending Franklin and Marshall College, Haidee moved across the country to the opposite coast and received a BA from the University of Washington in Seattle. She now lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with her dog Larkin (pictured above) and works from her studio at The Button Factory, 855 Islington Street.
